The Design School alum Mansour Alhazmi and architecture master’s degree student Gina Fagilarone were part of an ASU team conducting research in collaboration with building materials and adhesives company 3M and the City of Phoenix to study the potential to cool airsheds, pedestrians and the global climate by making surfaces more reflective at RJ Dog Park. Student design competition 

Madeline Magee, a senior in The Design School, won the Steelcase NEXT Student Design Competition. Magee and her classmate Chloe Cobb, who was a semifinalist, both donated their winnings toward a scholarship in the interior design program. Learn more about Magee’s work.
