Mira KimMira Kim

When Miru Kim made the decision to leave her home country of the Republic of Korea to study ceramics at Arizona State University, she didn’t realize how challenging the language barrier would be. She almost left the program, but ultimately made the decision to stay so she could learn from the School of Art’s award-winning ceramics faculty — Susan Beiner, Kurt Weiser and Sam Chung. Leanna (Liang) Wu is a UI/UX visual designer who grew up in Suzhou, China, and moved to the United States several years ago.
